I remember how the wind comb your long black hair as we climb our favourite hill. I remember how your eyes brighten up as I give you wild flowers— your happy pills.
I remember our favourite tree. It stood firm and proud. While our young love’s too mute to be loud. I remember our spot. I’d lean my back against the wooden bark. You’d lay your head on my soft lap. You’d look up and seek my eyes. I’d stare back and realize— words aren’t needed, our singing eyes are enough.
I remember them all while you forgot them all.

What a cool weather you captured……..!

The beauty of the moments all bottled up just for one.
Sigh.. how will they divide those moments?

I think that’s how love words. There are memories the other half remembers, while the other half forgets. ❤
Thank you, darling Dajena! ❤

Yes, mine would too. I was watching a show today where they had to kill a deer because she jumped through a plate glass window and broke her leg. I just started crying! I am terribly sensitive. Have You noticed? LOL!

Hope she didn’t forget him and these beautiful memories on purpose!

Oh.. that I am not sure too, dear. She somehow drifted away… or maybe she had an accident and had an amnesia.. I am not sure, too. 😉

I hope she has amnesia or an accident..Its good to think that way rather than to feel that the guy was dumped by her!!
Crazy heart 😉
LikeLiked by 1 person
yeahhhh! so let’s just think she had an amnesia. 🙂 that’s possible.
P.S.
You can somehow write a sequel to this, if you want to. 😉

Well if she does have amnesia/ accident or a valid reason to forget then the sequel can will be very similar to ‘Notebook’ 😉 😀

A hopeful and dreamy quality to this until the end, when you say he has forgotten all you’ve seen together. Sad.

Wow, and the tree falls–like the relationship. There’s even a casual couplet in the narrative: “You’d look up and seek my eyes. I’d stare back and realize . . .” But everything has crashed.
With this writing, I think Dorothy Parker would enjoy having you at her Algonquin table.

Oh wow. There goes your keen-reader-eye again! Thank you, Christopher! Dorothy Parker… hmmm.. that made me curious.

Parker was a member–and maybe the instigator–of a group of writers and other artists who met regularly at the Algonquin Hotel in New York City and thus became known as the Algonquin Table. The writing of Parker herself is effectively funny and acerbic. I think she’d admire the turns your works tend to take.

ooooooooooh!!! wow! that’s an honor!!! you should be on that table first, before me. 😉
