An Ode to Fun

An Ode to Fun

T’was a usual
Monday morning,
until you gave me
goosies without warning.
After reading,
your skeleton’s story,
I had no time
to even fell sorry.
‘Cause your talent
in making me happy,
is incomparable,
oh so, surely.
To roll on the floor
I almost did,
but there’s no carpet,
yes, you noted!
So lemme thank you,
my dear Funsie!
With you, sadness,
will be just a fantasy!

Ode is a poem praising and glorifying a person, place or thing.

And this ode is for my dearest Fun of Simply Me, who made my week a happy happy one.

  1. Oh, my dearly Rosema… You made my heart melt with this lovely Ode! I love it, love it, love it so much 😍❤️❤️❤️ THANK YOU! 😘😘😘
( p.s. I must send a proposal to your boss to carpet the floor… You’ll never know when I’ll make you wanna roll again! 😂😂😂)

      1. I recently signed up for A-Z Challenge. (Are you familiar with that?)
And my theme is about poetry. I have done my research for poetic forms starting with A-Z. And I cannot see a form for letters I, J, U, W, X, Y and Z. Do you happen to know some forms starting with these letters? 😉

      2. It is a huge undertaking and some will require a lot of work to present them in perfect form…I admire your gusto to take-on this challenge! 🙂

      3. Yes. That is true. There are simple forms but there are some elaborate ones too. (Those are making my nose bleed. 😂😂😂)
But I want to challenge myself. Haha. I hope I can pull this off. 👏
