Mondays Musings: On life’s meaning

Monday Musings

Start the week with some wise words worth pondering. – rosemawrites

I have met a lot of awesome bloggers/writers in my Writing 101 class and one of them is, Bethany. She loves Mitch Albom as much as I do but I love her not just because of that.

Reading her blog made my faith stronger because her words are both inspiring and empowering. So, without further adieu, here is today’s wise words inspired by her. 🙂

Tuesdays with Morrie

My thoughts:

I remembered crying during and after I read this touching memoir and that quote is indeed one of my favorite. Why? Because it really moved me.

Sometimes we get tired because we want to do this and we want to do that but in the end we feel empty. Why? Because we chase things that isn’t worth chasing. We do things that is not worth doing.

But you may ask, so how will we know if what we do is worth our effort?

Listen to your heart. And ask yourself, “Am I happy?” If yes, then continue. If not then you better pause and evaluate your life’s true meaning.

  1. Beautiful. If only all of us would listen to our heart before we act–what a world it would be! Thank you for these thoughts and for reminding me about Tuesdays with Morrie.
