my sweet little
muse has been
asleep on a corner
dressed in specks
of dust. unsure if
she’s down from glove
punches or Hawaiian
punch. i don’t mix
drinks with ink.
call me boring
all you want. just
wake my darling,
fermenting
muse
up.

Welcome back! Your verses made me think your muse is there, she’s just quietly observing everything for future material! ♥️♥️♥️

I can relate to this all too well. I LOVE that she is “dressed in specks/of dust.” I think they are sparkles, just waiting to be fully revealed by the sunlight. One word at a time.

Welcome back! The irony is that you have written beautifully that you are not able to write 🙂 Gives a very classic feel, the picture and your way of writing 🙂
