Pride
Lionize me now.
There ain’t no vainglory here
I’m the best there is.
Stand tall but know when
it’s your turn to bow down ‘cause–
life’s a turning wheel.

Great job! Truly beautiful words. I’m not into Shayari a lot (and till now I had no clue that Shayari can be done in English also, as it itself is a Hindi/Urdu word. So, great to know.) But you guys have done a fab job 😀

Oh… And Shayari means?

According to Google:
“Shayari is Hindi/Urdu word for a short poem/couplet, usually 2-4 lines. Something like Haiku but not governed by strict word count, has some meter, and usually nice/profound meaning.”
Hope it helps 🙂

I was told, as a young man, that the easy part of life is climbing the ladder of success. The difficulty occurs when we need to step down a couple of rungs. This post reminds me of those words of wisdom.
