Little Sacrifice

Aside from reflecting
and meditating,
I committed to sacrificing,
my one and only ‘vice’–
which is..yep.. blogging.

For three days,
I resisted my fingers itch,
my heart’s thumping pitch,
though my mind’s, yes,
a tempting witch.

Those three days
were not easy
but how mild is it
and breezy
compared to what he did,
for you and me.

Now I’m back
excited and blissful,
while HE remains
loving and faithful.
