Little Bud

I was welcomed
by the warm kiss
of the first batch of
golden morning rays,
and the soothing embrace
of  the whistling wind
dancing with grace.

I may bloom for a month
or for days,
I would never know.
I may wilt sooner
or later,
I would never know.

All I know is
I am a little, wild bud
inside a vast maze of greens,
I may be too small
to be noticed,
or to be seen,
but it doesn’t mean
my existence
doesn’t mean a thing.

Because for me,
you need not
to be noticed
or to be seen
to prove you are living.

  1. I love poems about nature. It’s so different from when we write about what we feel of think. The way you’ve written about the little bud sounds so so soothing. Like the bud is nature’s little one 😊😊❤️❤️
    P.S. The image is stunning!
