Inks turn red with breath of anger.
Spit shark words, too deep, a dagger.
Lost forgiveness in stormy sea,
swirled with hate, no serenity.
Let go or be drowned forever.
I write because I read. I read because I write.
Inks turn red with breath of anger.
Spit shark words, too deep, a dagger.
Lost forgiveness in stormy sea,
swirled with hate, no serenity.
Let go or be drowned forever.
So few words. Such deep message. This poem is like surfing the waves, at times also feeling like a roller-coaster. Brilliant! Indeed, letting go is the help that we offer ourselves. Grudges, anger, kill us from inside, and doesn’t do any harm to the person at whom it is hurled at

Letting go is indeed the best way ….but as we know words once uttered can never be taken back…this piece is a beautiful reminder of what will happen if we say things without even minding its consequences..

i agree, dear Mich. what hurts most is when those closest to us spit words without thinking of what we will feel. but this poem, i wrote, to remind myself that i have to forgive even when it isnt asked. 🙂 thank you!
