and i won’t mind
floating
aimlessly
like a forgotten leaf
of an
Autumn tree
as long as I can
float and float
freely
on the river named
after my
he.
I write because I read. I read because I write.
and i won’t mind
floating
aimlessly
like a forgotten leaf
of an
Autumn tree
as long as I can
float and float
freely
on the river named
after my
he.
ohhh so sensuous and dreamy to have a river like this, I would float away to eternity. Loveliest words Rosema, your words get better each time it seems.

I like the sense of surrendering as a forgotten autumn leaf floating on a river full of meaning that makes the surrender worthwhile.

awwww. that is such a beautiful comment, Frank. I think that’s how we do with love? I think love is a surrender?

I agree with Paul. The short, sweet little poem has all the delicate hallmarks of a little poet mouse.

I’ve never been to the River of Jordan. I’m such a hermit. Love the lightness of this poem.
