dust and meteoroid collide
atmosphere sparks in light
scarlet red, to bright yellow
then to a quick white,
a meteor fall.
in-awe brown eyes stare high
then faces turn, exchanged tensed sigh
cheeks blush in pink
closer and closer in less a minute,
black night burns to hot red.
oh the passion simmering here is amazing, starting slow and building with the colours till it turns red hot – lovely!

Yes Rosie, but its not supposed to be, it should be between monsoons now, but the weather is really crazy these days, so lots of thunderstorms.

The season is finally changing here, too, towards warmer weather. Ahhh spring. Blooms, allergies, and the pool parties. Haha…I love the combination of colors, which illicit so much emotions in this lovely, lovely poem. I love the peace of dusk, but relish in the hopefulness of dawn.

I like that you took us into the cosmos and back again in this, with the use of color so effective to create the sense of impressionism.
