Lumiere

Lumiere (Inspired by Tenerife Sea by Ed Sheeran)

Trapped in my darkened state,
I waited for light.
Lumiere. Lumiere.

As blackness enveloped me fully,
I figured I am glowing inside.
Lumiere. Lumiere.

  1. Pretty. Always the light inside you glowing. How were my comments on your poetry project? Were they okay? Was that what you were looking for? I just hope I didn’t offend you. Thanks

    1. Awww. thank you dear!!!
Hey… your comments are EPIC!!! Like I am soooo touched. Some of them are fictions yes, but you are right. I felt each poem. I feel them before I write them.
Sorry for not being able to answer. I had been sick and was offline and when i went back at work i am buried with tasks. Forgive me dear. I am in no way offended. I am honored. Elated. ❤ ❤ ❤

      1. I’m glad you are better and of course you have to catch up at work. Take all the time you need. Sometimes I’m commenting on the speaker or main characters in the poem if that’s what you mean. But sometimes I know the fictitious and real life overlap. Go easy on yourself and get extra sleep. My Mom says vitamin C all the time. It’s a natural antibiotic that you’ll never be immune to 🙂

  2. First i wanna say i hope you’re well by now….dont be too hard on yourself…take it slow..

Second this is such a melancholic poem as it maybe/somehow speaks of your emotional (?) state right now..

Second, I wrote this as a bit gentle but not sad. It's hopeful. 🙂 ❤ And I am indeed hopeful.
