Sweet scent of wildflowers has sadly failed
to be my favorite scent.
I still long for your smell.

Kimo is an Israeli version of the haiku, found at Poetry Kaleidoscope. There should be no movement in the imagery.
The Kimo is:
- a tristich, a 3 line poem.
- syllabic 10-7-6 syllables per line.
- unrhymed.
Oh my. This is amazing.

Ironic use of a favorite scent, since it doesn’t help. Sigh, sister.

Sigh! I missed reading all your lovely poems. Those three lines say so much! A lot of meaning in those few words. Beautiful as always, Rose dear 🙂
P.S. There’s an OctPoWriMo going on?! 😦 I missed it.

This is a great poem, Rosema.
The thought that came to my mind after reading it was, “Trust me; the wildflowers are much safer. I don’t know of anyone that has ever been hurt by a bluebonnet.
Have a blessed day. 🙂
