Book Review: Memories by Lang Leav

“It was words that I fell for. In the end, it was words that broke my heart.” — Lang LeavMemories

31st – A book written by a celebrity (POET) –  Memories by Lang Leav

Rating: ❤❤❤❤❤(GREAT READ!)

What is it about: Beloved pieces from Lullabies and Love & Misadventure are collected together in this illustrated treasury. In addition, 35 new poems that have not been published in any Lang Leav collection offer something new to discover. The author’s original art is presented in lovely four-color illustrations.

What I Love: The entirety of the book. It’s straight forward, it uses simple words but it surely tugs the heart. Lang Leav is indeed one gifted poetess.

What I Don’t Love Much: Nothing.

Wise Words: When love finds you, it doesn’t come with crashing waves or thunderbolts. It appears as a song on the radio or a particular blue in the sky. It dawns on you slowly, like a warm winter sunrise—where the promise of summer shines out from within.

Because losing someone isn’t an occasion or an event. It doesn’t just happen once. It happens over and over again.
