I thought the turning time
can successfully erase traces
of the sparkling, beating void
your goodbye left inside my tattered soul.
A decade after, it becomes clear.
I am wrong.

P.S. I combined the first three prompts because I was late. 😦 Forgive me. ❤
Oh wow. I often feel this as well. Lovely piece. 💖💖💖

You combined the words well Rosema and produced another great piece of poetry. Sorry is such a small word but so powerful and sometimes difficult to say.

Yes! Because of you and Melinda and the lovely and creative writing I’ve seen for OctPoWriMo, I’ve been inspired to join. I’ve scheduled my first poem for OctPoWriMo for later today. I also combined the first three prompts because I was late. ^_^

I love your combination. That was a good idea. I’m a couple of days behind myself. Yes. I got sucked into doing it. I didn’t mean to but I saw the prompts and was like ok well maybe, yes I’all do it. Anyways, lovely poem. Time doesn’t always heal all wounds.

I particularly like the phrase “turning time.” Makes me think of hourglasses. And after all the turns of time, the soul’s “tattered” rents have not been repaired. Beauty in sadness crafted, sister.
