Not sexy, but definitely happy

I may be flabby.
And you may laugh at me.

I may be meaty.
And surely, you can bully me.

I may be fat.
But I still have a heart.

I may be stout.
But please don’t give me doubts.

Yes, I am chubby.
But you have no right to tell me “I’m not worthy.”

Yes, I am not sexy.
But I can confidently say, “I’m happy.”

Now, let me ask you.
“Are you as happy as me?”

  1. And to some? “Fat, flabby, overweight, chunky, chubby, big-boned” whatever the label IS sexy. It’s all a matter of perspective. For me? Those who mind don’t matter and those who matter don’t mind. Good words.

  2. Powerful stuff! But I do have to disagree: sexiness, like beauty, is in the eye of the beholder, and personally I believe confidence is the key factor in determining someone’s sexiness. It really is something that comes from within as opposed to what’s on the surface.

    1. I honestly experienced it mostly as “jokes” from my high school friend. Because they are mostly thin and I am always the biggest so they poke fun at my weight.
That is why I kinda grew tired being with them. They are also materially richer than me so they also poke fun at my “not-designer” shoes and clothes or whatsoever.

But yeah. I am happy of who I am and what I have. 😉 I think it’s in the matter of perspective, always! ❤

  3. I’m been away too long. =) You make me happy, and that is more than a girl like me can ask for. Mostly, I ask for balance; without sorrow my happiness will be less potent…I think. Missed ya!
