ready to pierce, crush you
in one glance.
Fear not,
cry not,
be brave,
look up,
it’s not the end
no, it’s not.

  6. “Hungry lions”–such an evocative way to start! And you’re right–and thank you for affirming this–that though lions appear, they are not the end. The call to “be brave,/look up, . . .” Perfect encouragement, sister!
