The growling, glaring velvet sky is angry,
as if it’s sharp lighting and loud thunder can stop you and me
from etching our bodies with lips-made poetry.

  1. Sister, this is a skillful blending of sky, lightning (thunder), and love-etching. Romance outlasts an angry, stormy sky. Or maybe romance is in part fueled by nature’s passion, too!
