Spring blooms
came earlier than June.
Smiles moon
shines in starry cocoon.
All’s lovely
colors bold and carefree,
it was then
you’ve decided to leave me.
Your absence’s
a sudden nadir
cruel enough to
snatch my spring’s flair.

I learned a new word–Nadir. =) Another beautifully written poem, Rosemarie! Can we have something for summer? 😀

Such likable metaphor. Then all turns sad. May nadir rise to zenith. Verse that pulls at the heart, sister!

Ooooh. Zenith is an equally beautiful word, brother! thank you!

So sad. “nadir” the lowest point for her in spring, just as the sun and nature.
