Gigil
The softness of her hands
has been my gigil’s fortress
as I resist kissing
her soft, silky lips.

A beautiful poem Rosema. I love the line, “has been my gigil’s fortress” packed with intensity and passion. Thank you for writing and sharing.
Here is my offering for Gigil.

The reader in me wants to ask, Why resist? Would it be inappropriate? Is there fear of rejection? The poem, sister, is a good statement against giving in, rightly or wrongly.
