Balintataw
With my clear eyes
I saw how she lit up
when you gave her the bouquet.
And how she swiftly turned white
when you said,
you got the wrong girl.

Yes that’s awkward and shameful and painful. Geez. I haven’t acknowledged that my mind is twisted until I wrote this one. HAHA

Ah ha ha ha….ha ha hah!…Oh you clever, clever you, Rosemarie! This is so amusing. Embarrassing? Yep! But, funny as can be. LOVE your sense of humor. And, the timing and punchline was perfect.

HAHA. Thank you very very much, Lonna!!! I wrote this piece but whenever I read it again I feel i’m so bad for doing that to that poor girl!

You speak of “her” as though she is a real person. Spill it! Who was it, eh? J/K 😉

I’m not sure if this is funny or sad, but I’m sure there are girls out there this has happened to!

I think it is funny for those who was able to see the incident and sad for the girl. I can imagine that it is such a grim experience. And yes, some might have suffered such fate.

Lovely poem Rosema. I’m sure as my eyesight goes with age this scenario will play out for me one day.
Here’s my take on Balintataw.

Hahaha. Been regularly blogging for almost a year now. I started writing fictions just last September. But remember i bombed a bus! So that’s a loot already!

🙂 My one year blog anniversary is September 1. But your body count exceeds mine. We’ll see if that changes now that I’m writing shorter pieces 🙂 Yes you did bomb a bus! Didn’t you also explode part of a city?

YEAH! I am guilty and i have no alibi in my pocket. HAHAA
Yes. I did bomb a city, a leisure park actually.

Even worse! 😉 Next time have an alibi ready! Destroy it while at work where you have witnesses!

HAHAHAH. an alibi is one tough piece to write! Even harder than any poetic forms!! Hahaha
LikeLiked by 1 person
True but you should do one as a creative piece of fiction for the fun of it. It would make an interesting read. You could do alibi poems too. Oh the possibilities are endless!

Ooooohh!!! That’s one epic idea! Hahahha. I might do it!!!!

You should! It would be very entertaining. You could do the companion piece showing the crime too!

Hahaha. I committed a lot of crimes already. I am not sure what to put in the death toll! Haha
