Harana
In front of thousand teary eyes
with your guitar’s humming smiles,
you sing the song you wrote,
and make my wholeness float.

Your poetry is music to my ears. 😉 What are some of your favorite songs/artists/genres?
LikeLiked by 1 person
awwww. you’re the sweetest, Lonna! 😀
I am not sure what kind of genre is my favorite but I tend to love Jason Mraz, Sara Bareilles, Ed Sheeran, Colbie Callait and The Script. I loooove singers who write their own songs. 😉

❤ Love, love, love your selections! ❤ My two sons (and mommy and daddy, he he) were obsess with The Script – Hall of Fame ft. will.i.am . I agree; song writers make the best music. May I also add One Republic to your list? Ryan Tedder is the lead singer and he writes songs for other artists. His serenade melts my _<

I agree! 😀 😀 😀 I am glad we share the same ‘taste’ with music, Lonna! 😀

These are fine lyrics in and of themselves. But then your work often has a song quality. And, hey, it’s not about sadness! Though I like your sad poems, too.
Really, sister, you should consider finding someone to set notes to your words. You make good music!

oh dear brother!!! thank you very very much!
Maybe that is because of the fact that I listen to much to singer/songwriters. 🙂 They write poetically beautiful lyrics and the accompanying music breathe more life to their words. (talking about Sara Bareilles and Jason Mraz). 😉

I’m sure your own fondness for music helps you write with same quality. Your work, certainly, stands musically on its own.
