Takipsilim
Promising pink and purple
defeats wishful white and blue,
bright soleil darkens,
luna casts its gloomy hue.

I’m not a morning person. I naturally gravitate towards the night. Ssh, don’t tell anyone I’m a vampire. 😀

The way you describe dusk darkening day is both wistful and appealing. We can look forward to the night, I think, and then the return of “wishful” day. Heart-filled work, sister!

Beautiful poem Rosema in the description of colours. I think of the saying: “read sky at night sailors delight,” when I read your piece about the pink and purples of night coming. Visually appealing Rose 🙂

This is very nice. 🙂 But, Luna isn’t gloomy. She is beautiful like her sister the sun, just in a calmer way. She’s much safer to photograph, too. 🙂 I enjoy your posts, Rosema. Have a beautiful day!
