Word-High July: Pagsamo

We have watched a lot of movies together,
but there’s more to see.
We have traversed roads less travelled,
but there’s more to discover.
We have captured a lot of treasured moments,
but we can still create new ones.
We have done a lot, love,
but there’s more that we can do.
So please, half of my heart,
don’t bid adieu.

  1. That’s a well-selected image. The camera and rose symbolizing memory captured. The content of the verse, of course, is stronger. I guess at the end there’s a question in the plea, as I imagine most pleas are a request of sorts. What will the answer be? Not that we have to know. The question, as posed, is sufficiently beautiful. Touching poetry, sister.

    1. You see beyond the words, brother. Even my the reason behind the image i’ve chosen, you got them all right. That is clearly why you are one of my few favorite readers. ❤

Yes, a question is left hanging. Will he heed her plea? Or does he have a choice in the first place?

      Thank you, brother!
