I adore your poems. =) This one is bit different. Normally, my emotions are decidedly one way or another; today’s verse has me mixed between the tranquility of the color blue and the often volatility of the deep ocean. I have a fear for drowning b/c I didn’t learn to swim until adulthood. Curse you mother, father. But, love you to death too. PS. Hope you are well, Rosemarie, and that you had a good 4th if you celebrated it. ❤

Oh thank you, Lonna! I can relate! Until now I am not a swimmer yet! 😀
I hope your July 4th was great, too! ❤

Hey, is the title word a word in your native language? Nice poem, by the way!

Oh, I see! So these days, you are picking up words from your language and using them in English poems? That’s actually very nice 🙂

yes, Appy! 🙂 it’s a challenge Maria and I launched and we do it too! 🙂 You can actually hop in (if only you want to. ;)) no pressure! 😀
Thanks dear!

Ah! Sure, may be I can pick up some word in my mother tongue and write a small poem. I can’t give any time frame, but the concept seems very interesting to me.

That is a lovely idea, too! No worries dear. 😉 Do it when you have time. 😉

As a little being, your speaker felt important to him, had a place in the world’s vastness. Yet now thT vastness of ocean and sky swallows her, she doesn’t feel special anymore. Sad but a beautiful metaphor.
