Succulent: A Shadorma*
Fork pierces,
slowly but surely,
choc’late drops
tickles tongue,
as creamy chiffon creates
feast ‘side my mouth.

The Shadorma is a simple syllabic verse form created by James Neill Northe that is most effective when written using strong words or phrases.
The Shadorma is:
- a hexastich, a poem in 6 lines although you certainly could choose to write any number of sixains in this syllabic pattern.
- syllabic, 3-5-3-3-7-5 syllables per line.
- unrhymed.
Oh yum! I want a piece!

I learn about a new form of poetry almost everyday I come across a post of yours. Haiku, I already knew. Senryuu. Now Shadorma? There were more I just don’t remember.
On a sidenote though, that cake looks delicious.

HAHAHAHAHAH! Sorry about that dear! I can’t eat cake because budget don’t allow me so I just let my words imagine it all. 😀

Well I finally did control my urge … And I didn’t eat it.. 😀
But yeah, these cakes do put a dent in the budget as well apart from adding fat!!! Probably that’s why they are called sinful 😉
