On Waiting

june 19

Oh, are we there yet?
I almost, always ask You.
Wait child, you tell me.

There are some lessons
you will never learn, unless
you wait for life’s turn.

True, it’s not easy
but someday you’ll thank me, ’cause
it’ll be worth it.

  1. My kid is like that on a trip, asking every 2 minutes! “Are we there yet?”
What a wonderful connection you have made with life and waiting.
The new header of tulips and coffee is absolutely rocking!

  2. “[Y]ou tell me.” What great advice to the child. A child of any age. My sister–who says I have no patience–would be happy to know I’ve read this. I’m even happier that you wrote it. And the rest. Sister, I hope you have a terrific week!

  3. ❤ 😀

I can communicate with words, I promise, but this one made me speechless and reminded me of how much I used to drive my parents crazy. I was so impatient! Still am as I wait for my own kiddo to get here, but as you said, it'll be worth it! :] Hope you're well, Rosema!

  4. It is in our human nature to want to know what will happen in the future. We pray and anxiously keep asking God to give us an answer. When He is silent, we think He is not answering. How wrongly we cannot accept silence as an answer. It is always about the Journey. God is not looking only to offer us a destination.
    🙂 I hope I read this correctly 😀
    ❤ ❤ Love to you!!
    and blessings my beautiful friend!

    1. Wow. Those are wise words my darling. Indeed we often take silence as no. And… that’s human nature.
And you surely got it right! I am speaking here with God. ❤ And He is speaking to me, too! ❤
Thank youuu dear and have a lovely week darling!

      1. Oh geez! Have you reported it already? When my WP isn’t working (like 10 minutes not working) I tweet to WP admin ceaselessly. 😀 (A bit psycho eh? :D)

  5. So, so true 🙂 I’m generally a patient girl but I have some friends who can be incredibly impatient. And not just life events or travel but generally! They think I’m nuts for being so patient 😛 I keep telling them, “some things will happen only when it’s time for it. Some you have to work out. Life will teach you in any way.”

  6. To be honest, I have zero level of patience, for most of the things! Its difficult for me to just wait.. And the funny part is, the more I get impatient, the more I need to wait 😀
So nowadays, I try to remain cool and calm..which is kinda difficult for me to pull off, at times (actually most of the times 😉 )

    Loved this one, dear … 😀 ❤ ❤ ❤
