“The soul becomes dyed with the colour of its thoughts.” ― Marcus Aurelius, Meditations
I am currently…
Loving… writing poetry
‘cause I don’t know I have them in me.
Eating… chewy moniegold.
Drinking… water, not cold.
Watching… nothing, really.
Going… to exercise my right to vote, freely.
Reading… The Nightingale by Kristin Hannah.
Texting… my beloved papa.
Playing… nothing again.
Working… on new poems again. 😉
Listening… to sad poetic songs by Sara Bareilles.
Thanking… God for giving me nothing less.
Buying… gift for Nanay on Mother’s Day.
Planning… how to make her feel special.
Visiting… nothing but places from the book.
Wondering… if I will ever learn how to cook. 😀
Feeling… contented, excited,
for the words I’ll be reading and writing next.

What good way to learn more about you. And, I imagine, to discover something in the writing, too.
I’ve been listening to international news about your elections. Goodness, I hope they go well.

Clever way of turning your list into a lovely poem. 😀 Happy Mother’s Day to you Nanay dear. And, yes, vote wisely. Hehe. Happy weekend! ❤

Thank you, Maria! 😀 😀 😀 It felt too long if I create a paragraph for each so I just made a free verse poem! 😀
And thank youuuuu! Happy Mother’s Day to you Nanay, Maria! ❤ ❤ ❤
I just voted. 😀

A beautifully woven one. 🙂 My pleasure, Rosema. And thank you. ❤❤❤ How was the election? Not too chaotic, I hope?

Not too chaotic. 🙂 I vote for the one I wanted. Not for someone who will win. 🙂
How about your experience?

Glad it didn’t turned out chaotic. 🙂 As for me, I didn’t vote. So I basically have no right to complain for the next six years, I guess? Haha

You didn’t???? Why???

I didn’t get a ticket. All ship’s were fully booked the week before the election. *sigh*

eh it’s been busy here and it’s going to get busier.I may be slow to respond for a few days this week and next. I have training, a conference and a couple other work things + a packed weekend of family stuff next weekend that will keep me offline. No worries though; there will be plenty to read and lots of images to oggle. 🙂

GEEEEZ! You surely have jam packed schedule! Go go go, Mel! 😀 You can surely do it all! 🙂
And, yes, I will litter and litter in your blog. ❤

we’ll see but I think it’s coming or part of it. I haven been working very hard, more hours too. It’s a more strategic role very different from my current job. So I have lots to learn and there is a lot of pressure to produce results fast, which makes me a littler nervous. I advocated a new way to approach things and I pray it works.

Oooh! Wow! That is so amazing to hear, Mel! 🙂 Little nervous is fine, that means your feet is still on the ground. 🙂 And I will be praying with you! 🙂 #Believe!

Thank you 🙂 it’ll be double the work and stress–I’ve got to get results! This is a long time in coming. Other people I have worked with over the last five years have been promoted but I have remained at the same position and pay.

I wouldn’t know. 🙂 But.. still.. I’ve read that no one said life is fair. 🙂 So let’s just live with it. 😀

🙂 wow so they’ll first stop off in California before striking off around the globe? Maybe they could drop me off on the way. I heard it’s warmer there!

YEAH! It is soooo much warmer here! The hottest in decades. Normal day’s averagely more than 40 degrees Celsius!!!
LikeLiked by 1 person
wow, here we’re in the 60 degree fahrenheit range. I’m not sure what that is in Celsius, but it’s cool for this time of year.
