Mirror: A Monorhyme

Look me in the eye,
remove your mask of lie,
listen to your own sigh,
touch you deeper ‘I’.

No one knows why,
deep inside you die,
though you can try,
to let go and just cry.

When your tears run dry,
and you’ve bid goodbye
to hatred and lie,
you can finally fly.

  11. Such a heartfelt poem which really did hit me…My favorite is this part: ‘No one knows why, deep inside you die, though you can try, to let go and just cry.’

    In such simple words you have explained the complex thing of letting it go…

      Sometimes, it’s not the pain inflicted that really kills us but our not letting go. Nonetheless, I can never say it is easy to let go and forgive. Right? 🙂
