Big ‘C’

Life’s light
mood’s bright
heart’s fine
when soul’s
only mine.

Then you came,
hijacked every cell
you stumbled upon
which drove me
insane.

Now life’s hard,
heart has died,
soul’s really tired,
frivolity hunches-
hides.

  1. I love how you opened the piece. Then the transformation in the middle. And then you killed it with your heart dying. All in 3 simple short but very powerful verses. My turn to go *kilig*

    1. wow! Coming from the Queen, I am overwhelmed! 😀 😀 😀

Yay! Thank you for the *kilig*. For you reference… kilig has no direct english translation. 😀
      kilig
      1. noun. It is the sudden feeling of an inexplicable joy one gets when something romantic or idealistic occurs.

When kilig, one may experience the following:

      *butterflies in one’s stomach
      *heart melting
      *shivers down one’s spine
      *irrepressible noises from one’s mouth
      *uncontrollable smiling
*an inner conflict between hope of something wished for and reality

      1. You are seriously sweet, Rose. Your explanation warmed my heart although I had understood the meaning already. But you taking time out to explain is proof enough how much you want me to be a part of your world. And you are already in mine. 🙂 In my native tongue, *kilig* would be either *ambo* or *dammi*. Yes some emotions just cannot be translated. But we feel those when like-souls connect. Much love. 🙂

      2. Yay! I’m glad you see it that way! 😀
Yes, I have to share it to you because I believe I shared it before with the people I love here: like Thomas and Mel! 😀 It felt like I am sharing a piece of me when I share some native words with you guys. 🙂
*ambo* and *dammi*.. yay! Thank you for sharing! 😀
