Drop, Up

Just when I have
embraced–
accepted,
the
inevitable–
painful
drop,

YOU finally came,
and lift
me
up.

In response to Daily Post: Drop.

Inspired by  Vijaya and Mandi. Thank you lovely ladies for the uplifting words. I direly need them today. You are two beautiful souls and I am more than blessed to call you my blogger-friends. ❤

Here is another reason why I am feeling better now.

As surely as the sun will rise
You’ll come to us
Certain as the dawn appears

Let Your glory fall as You respond to us
Spirit rain
Flood into our thirsty hearts again
You’ll come, You’ll come

~

      1. I’m praying! You’ll be fine! I finished the images for our collab. Check the google doc when you have time. There is no rush on this! Check it when you can; worry not if you can’t today. It’ll keep until tomorrow. Talk to you soon 🙂

  2. Hey Rosema how are you?
    What a pleasant surprise,
Lately, He has called me to write Hymns for him instead of the regular poems and songs, In your blog also I find the same, Maybe God really wants us to become his instruments, to bear witness for him to ourselves and to the whole world.
I pray for you in His holy name, that Let His will be done in your life, and let the Spirit come and touch you, in those places where you are weak, and make you strong again, in union.
    Amen.

  3. I don’t know much about processes involving fabric, but I think when you drop a stitch you then have to go back (to the start of the line, at least). But in relationships there is not that need. We simply pick each other up.

The song lyrics are solid and true. When we thirst, God brings rain. Always.

All you write and share are reasons to feel “up.” Have the rest of a splendid week, Rose.

  4. Thank you Hon. I’m so glad my song/poem gave you inspiration. I pray for you, that things will get less stressful. I understand how hard it is at work in those first few years after University. Find a way you can relax and work off stress, maybe yoga, or cardio on the elliptical I used to find helpful. Maybe a personal journal to write off more stress. Best of luck. Lovely song.
