Because I truly enjoy Sonya of Only 100 Words Three Line Tales, I will be posting catch-up TLT for the three previous prompts that I missed! 🙂
And this one is for Three Line Tales Week One.
If you want to join, (it’s not too late and it is surely fun), here are the simple rules:
- Write three lines inspired by the photo prompt.
- Link back to this post.
- Tag your post with 3LineTales (so we can find you in the Reader).
- Read and comment on other TLT participants’ lines.
- Have fun.
Looking at the faces of these cows make it hard to put them on our plates! Great story, Rosema!

That is true! It is easier to cook them cause you saw them dead already. But when youbsaw them alive, it’s harder.

I use to live on the farm with my husband. We had a milk cow that he had bought a calf for. She wouldn’t take the calf so I had to bottle feed the calf. When he grew up my husband had him butchered and I couldn’t eat him. 😦

Awwww. That’s sad. Because there is somehow a sentimental connection between you and the cow.

Yes, I raised him by bottle feeding him and he would follow me all over the farm. I could call him and he would come. He was just a big ol’ pet to me. It makes me sad even now when I think about it.

Aww. I am so sorry to hear that. I’m glad you didn’t take it against your husband.

No, of course not. That is farm life. In fact, after Junior, he told me we needed to move off our farm (I think He was afraid I would keep all the animals as pets. LOL!!)

Thank you. We haven’t been married to each other in many years. He remarried. I did not.

Oh. I’m sorry to hear that. But you’re good? I mean civil? Or friends?

No, we are not friends. We divorced many years ago. He remarried right away. I never remarried.

I think either of them can give you a fillet mignon? 😀

😀 I guess? I have no where where fillet mignon comes from. For all I know, it could be a special breed of cow!

That’s it! If it were up to me to choose, more so to kill, the cow, we’d all be vegetarian. Bless you!
