While bliss
flees in an
instant,
pain stays
more than a
decade.

This is the poem I mentioned, Mandi. 🙂
I write because I read. I read because I write.
While bliss
flees in an
instant,
pain stays
more than a
decade.

You concisely craft emotional reality. We can–we are allowed–to take solace in knowing that pain is felt by others, too. We can recite this verse for balm. Thanks, Rosema!

Thank you for yet another meaningful comment, Christopher. 🙂
I was in a bus (again) when the thought occurred to me. Why is it the bliss can fade in an instant? But grief stays and lingers?
I cannot actually answer those questions…

Neither can I. Sometimes even when I’m feeling good, I wonder when I’ll feel down again.

Ohh. But that should not be our habit. 🙂 We should relish those happy times and not worry if it will end. 🙂

It’s wonderful Rosema and true. Bliss is quick and pain is something that seems to live on in heart and mind. When I’m in a happy carefree moment I know I’ll want to remember, I try to take a mental picture, a picture of all of my senses, so I can recall that moment during times of pain. Super Job!

Yes, Mandi. I think we have discussed this? 😀 😀 😀
That is a great practice. A habit worth sharing. 🙂
Thank you!

Thank you, Maria! Just a random thought that hits me when I am in a bus (again! :D).

Ooh! Another bus-inspired poem! 😀 We really need more buses here.

Haha! Come here. You’ll get tired of riding buses everyday! 😀

HAHA! Bus rides or any close land vehicles tire me out. I have this “land-sickness” thing. Oh, but your bus ride escapades always bring out the best poet in you. 🙂 🙂 🙂

Ohhh. I understand.
Yeahhh. And actually, Maria the first story that I have written, the one I am talking to you, is titled BUS. 😂😂😂

Oh… see? It’s amazing how buses draw you closer to your poetic self. 😀 😀

Creepy why? It’s fascinating and amusing. 😉 Unless…
there’s a creepy old man stalking you whenever you ride the bus? XD

HAHA! there’s none. But it’s just a bit weird. 😀

Bliss seems like a vapor and pain seems like a stone, doesn’t it?
