Ironies

While bliss
flees in an
instant,

pain stays
more than a
decade.

    1. Thank you for yet another meaningful comment, Christopher. 🙂

I was in a bus (again) when the thought occurred to me. Why is it the bliss can fade in an instant? But grief stays and lingers?
I cannot actually answer those questions…

  1. It’s wonderful Rosema and true. Bliss is quick and pain is something that seems to live on in heart and mind. When I’m in a happy carefree moment I know I’ll want to remember, I try to take a mental picture, a picture of all of my senses, so I can recall that moment during times of pain. Super Job!

      1. HAHA! Bus rides or any close land vehicles tire me out. I have this “land-sickness” thing. Oh, but your bus ride escapades always bring out the best poet in you. 🙂 🙂 🙂
