Bestfriend

A proposal inside a roomful of books is more than heavenly.

I almost cried when he asked “will you marry me?”

Oh how I wish… he was asking me.

      1. Oh thank you. Honestly, I am happy. A happy person. But when I write, I write more of dark tales. (this week is a concious effort to write positive ones then this piece happened.)

  1. Aww…you’ve somehow managed to send me on a rollercoaster ride with three lines! I started with excitement when I thought she was being proposed to then it shattered when I realized it was the best friend…

    Great job Rosema 😀

  2. I started reading and right away I knew it was you because of your love of books. I could picture your proposal in the bookstore, you’d love it!

      1. Well, here the rhyme adds a lyrical quality that doesn’t make us ready for the bitter twist. Which is creative crafting. Sometimes I have to rhyme, too. Sometimes for you. (See?)
