Innocent Kisses

“It’s the kind of kiss that inspires stars to climb into the sky and light up the world.” ― Tahereh Mafi, Ignite Me

With all honesty, I almost skipped this list but thank you Mandi for some eye-opening words! 😀

Because tomorrow’s the most romantic day of the year (do y’all agree?) Laduchessederat‘s The Great Book of Lists for today is about favorite onscreen kisses. ❤ (Okay, don’t hold off your smile, I know this made you smile! :D)

“So, this week, I’m suggesting you guys to list you favorite onscreen kisses, be it on TV or on the silver screen. What smooches makes you swoon, sigh, howl or cheer ? Are there any lips lock you watch over and over ? Have you had the pleasure to see two characters you’ve been rooting for finally find love ? OR are there kisses you wish you’d see on screen ?”

I know you want me to shut up now and proceed with the list 😁, so fine! 😀 BUT! I am NOT actually posting the exact kissing scenes. 🙂

Instead, I will be listing down movies with kissing scenes that made my heart flutter. ❤

1. 50 First Dates (2004)

Adam Sandler’s wit and humor will keep you entertained while Drew Barrymore’s heartfelt acting will make you love the movie more.

2. Titanic (1997)

I was a young lass when I first watched this movie so I do not really understand it at first. But when I finally watched it as a grown-up, this is indeed a classic love story worth sharing.

3. The Wedding Singer (1998)

A movie where the epic ‘Grow Old With You’ song came from. Isn’t that enough to make you watch this film? 😍 Drew and Adam’s chemistry is also so fun and cheesy to

4. Breaking Dawn (2011)

I just love their wedding scene. 😊 The setting, those white flowers are just so breathtaking, the vows, and the couple itself. You need to see the sexy scenes of a vamp and a human! It’s funny yet hot! 😁

5. Love and other Drugs (2010)

Aside from the commendable performance of my favorite actress, Anne Hathaway, the movie’s plot is really worth to watch. The story explored way beyond sex and he part that explains Parkinson’s disease is an eye opener as well.

6. Letters to Juliet (2010)

Some may argue that the premise is so usual, boy meets girl, hated each other, then falls in love. But what I love about this movie is it’s deeper take on enduring love. Take Claire’s love story.

7. Safe Haven (2013)

Critics may say a lot of negative comments for this flick but I will still love it. Yes, the book is way better. (It is actually a regular phenomenon nowadays.) But I think Julianne and Josh deserves praise in their portrayals. Also, North Carolina’s beauty is just so awesome!

8. The Lucky One (2012)

A love story set under complicated circumstances, The Lucky One is a must watch flick. With the hot Zac Efron as your leading man, who would ever say no! 😁

Chapter 2.1 – Favorite Onscreen Kisses

Thank you for the *kilig*-inducing prompt, Laduchessederat!

Have you watch some of these flicks? What’s your fave among them?

Tell me!

  1. I like these choices. And I think bringing together these moments in movies is both romance and reminder. The reminder part being that love is pretty good. And kisses and hugs are good for our blood-health. Really.

It’s a sci-fi flick, but I think the kiss in Independence Day is pretty grand. After all, the world might end, but this moment yet exists. Characters portrayed by Will Smith and Vivica Fox, by the way.

Happy Valentine’s Day, everyone!–whether it comes as kisses, hugs, holding hands, going to the movies or renting a film at home, chocolate, or anything else that’s good.

And thanks for all the sharing here!
