First Poem

Between the

two of us,

I am

the writer,

you were

the reader.

And then,

came the surprise

with yesterday’s

sunrise.

An English poem

you’ve written.

For the first time

t’was my turn to listen.

Imperfect grammar,

misspelled words,

well, I don’t care,

if subject agree with verbs.

All I know,

is how much

I am loved.

And it’s me,

you only

love.

Valentine Bug Bite #3

(Yes, the bug has bitten me, hard! :D)

With his permission, here is the FIRST-EVER English poem (he usually writes poems for me in Tagalog) my dearest has written for me. P.S. Forgive the errors. 😀

You are the reason why I keep on moving forward.
The reason why I keep on smiling.. Dreming..
Dreaming that someday you’ll be the very first person i’ll see in the morning..
The woman that chosen by God to be with me forever.

You give meaning to my life..
Giving me precious memories to cherish.. To hold on..
I may be not a perfect man for you..
But I make sure to love you the way that no other man could do.

You are the girl in my dream.. The woman that I prayed for..
The woman that I will share my life with.
The woman that someday will walk in the aisle..
Wearing the most beautiful smile, and a teary eye…
Ecchanging vows of a lifetime. 💕💕💕

Early Valentines day poem to my one and only Rosemarie. 😍😍😍😍🌷🌷🌷🌷🌷🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹💐💐💐💐💐💐

  1. Your poem is the perfect backdrop for the one your love wrote to you. It is apparent you love one another and that’s the greatest poetry in life. Tell him he did a great job at describing what you mean to him. Beautiful! Thanks for sharing, Rosema 🙂

  2. this is wonderful! You’re poem was the perfect intro for his. How sweet it is to be loved and to love like that. You are a lucky lady! You deserve all the best. 🙂 Sounds like you’re going to have a wonderful Valentines day! 😀

  3. Both poems are wonderful. I appreciate the emphasis (in your poem’s voice) on the privilege of listening. And in the second poem. Errors? What errors? Like you, I do not care. The message arrives and, as you know, is to be admired. Actually, I like some of the errors (adding authenticity to his voice). Ecchanging is kind of a cool word. Some might note (I’ll note) that it combines ecco–behold–with change. Two good activities in a close relationship. Happy Valentine’s Day, you two!

  4. That’s really beautiful. What a guy! You will have that to keep and remind him of it as you grow older together. So sweet! You have to tell me sometime how you met each other!

      1. Good ! so the hard part (at least for me , I can’t do poetry 😉 ) is already taken over …he is a poet , now with your help if he wants he can start translating them 🙂 I know it mustn’t be easy because of the sounds and rhymes but you’ve got one already and it’s good 🙂
