You know
a poem
is
great,
When you
wish you
wrote
it.

This is a poem I have written seconds after I started reading Lullabies by Lang Leav.
(I am reading romantic poems to awaken my romantic-writer-self! :D)
The first poem by Lang Leav (see below) just took my breath away. ❤
P.S. Where are you Valentine bug? 😀
I don’t know. I like “blue-inked fingers,” but I think “You know/a poem” is a wonderful entry into the thought of your verse. And the honesty continues. Thanks!

You are welcome, Rosema and thank you for those kind words. I think most of us come across work we wish we had created 🙂

That is so true. Because we writers are actually readers. 🙂

oh yes! I just felt that after the book I listened to today ended. I wished I had written it. I loved it. It was a mystery/thriller.

Ooooh! A mystery thriller. (My eyes went wide, for real!) What book is that? 😀

It’s Bury Your Dead by Louise Penny, book 6 of Chief Inspector Armand Gamache series. It’s set in Quebec and I now I want to drive up there and take a tour! The Canadian border is maybe 8 hours away. Not sure how far Montreal is from that border though.

Oooooh! The title itself creeps me out! I would note that name! 😀
It’s extra awesome when a book is set almost near your home right? 😀

it’s a whole other world up there. They speak French. The first book in the series is called Still Life, It was so great that I rushed to get the next book after listening to a couple hours of the audio book. I have been listening to this series since Friday.

Yes that’s the book. It was really good. I listen at night only if I’M cleaning, walking or working out. If in on my pc then I turn it off

not really 🙂 The voice actors who narrate make it easy to enjoy the story on the go. I just lend my ears 🙂
