Roaring Red

Hiding with controlled breathing, I saw her coming.

Without her knowing, I witnessed how thrilled she was with the new look of ‘our’ little corner. From rustic brown, to cloudy blue, to cheeky peach, to mossy green, I decided to finally paint our ‘love’ seat in roaring red!

Quietly and inches away from her, I watch admiringly as her hands move freely.

I am far but I can’t help but smile.

‘Cause just like five years ago, I am quite sure. On that red seat I will see, her name and mine inside a heart, an artwork made for me.

    1. KILIG becomes a better word when you use it, PJ! HAHA

This is the best Valentine-oriented story that I can produce. Romantic stories are not my forte, eh? 😀
Thank you, PJ! This prompt is awesome!

    1. First of all and as always, you never failed to paint bright smiles in my face, Fun! I am glad my ‘try’ to be Valentine-ish worked! 😀

And yes!!! I am sooooo glad you still remember Season! 😀 😀 😀 I actually told PJ that a bench inspired my very first fiction/flash fiction!
