Even when my strength is lost
I’ll praise You
Even when I have no song
I’ll praise You
Even when it’s hard to find the words
Louder then I’ll sing Your praise
–
Even when the fight seems lost
I’ll praise You
Even when it hurts like hell
I’ll praise You
Even when it makes no sense to sing
Louder then I’ll sing Your praise

DAY 43 of 50 Days of Gratefulness
Today, I am grateful for Hillsong United.
I am a proud Christian, but that doesn’t mean I am holy. That doesn’t mean my life has been all about blessings and accomplishments. It isn’t.
I’ve mentioned in several posts the struggles that I’ve been through, about my Tatay, my Nanay, my family’s financial woes and my journey towards my dream.
Life has never been easy, but ever since I was a child, I took comfort in songs.
I can remember how I cried out while singing every Sunday, for those seven long months when I’ve been failing every job interview and job exams. I can remember how I cried out begging God for my Tatay’s and even Nanay’s life.
Now, as I recall them, I am so grateful for the songs written not just for the happy days or blessings. I am grateful for Hillsong United’s songs that you can sing, even when it hurts.

A great song and message, I’ve been down that road of struggle too. Just keep on going. You’ll make it through somehow, we strong women always do. Peace and blessings my friend

I need to download that song. It’s our path, but the beauty in it all is rising from the ashes of our dying.

Ahh ! My dear girl sometimes your message leaves me nodding in understanding. I am a Christian but not without my blemishes.

I think no one’s really holy. We’re blessed not because we deserve it, we’re blessed because our God’s a loving God who embraces us despite our blemishes. 🙂

When our praise rises up to God in those trying times, It shuts the enemies mouth, and helps us understand that God can and He cares. It is not a function of our righteousness. He is always merciful.

I’m happy music comforts you. Music means much to me. The lyrics of the Hillside song are wonderful. When I have no voice (no song, no words), then I’ll sing louder–that is inspiration! I don’t know that I know much about holiness, but I can with confidence that you are special. And God knows that. Thanks again!–Christopher
