2016, I’m ready!

Write it on your heart that every day is the best day in the year. –  Ralph Waldo Emerson

May your heart

be filled with gratefulness

as 2015 ends.

May your soul

be filled

with hope

as 2016 begins.

After posting my 2015 in Review, that made me really giddy, here’s the five INSPIRING things that I am grateful for as 2015 ends and 2016 begins! They have been the inspirations of my posts here in A Reading Writer!

Day 25: I am grateful for Sara Bareilles

I haven’t been a fan since last year and I am more than glad that I discovered her music. Her lyrics are just so great, and her voice is just magnificent!

Her songs have inspired two well-loved stories by A Reading Writer: Used to be Mine: A Song-based Fiction and Seasons: Epilogue.

Day 26: I am grateful for Blogging U’s writing courses!

Especially, Ben and Cheri! 😀 Your passion in writing and blogging is contagious! Look how you’ve made A Reading Writer a better blog (content wise!). Thank you so much!

Day 27: I am grateful for Mitch Albom!

You actually know that this is coming, right? 😀 A lot of my posts (Top Ten Tuesday: Top Ten Quotes I Loved From The Magic Strings of Frankie Presto by Mitch Albom; Monday Musings: Why humans kill each other?WRITING 101: Things I’ve Learned from Mitch Albom and a lot more) are inspired by his words. I can definitely say that he is surely the writer that I look up to! 🙂

Day 28: I am grateful for The Broke and the Bookish!

They are the hosts of Top Ten Tuesday, a meme that I truly enjoyed doing! Thank you so much  JamieLoriDaisyJanaJuliaKimberlyTahleen, Bridget and Lauren! ❤

Day 29: Lastly, for today, I am grateful for The Sumerians!

They invented the first books about 5 thousand years ago (c.3100 BC) in Southern Iraq!

As originally a book blog, A Reading Writer will not be around without them!
