I can’t help but smile as I write this post because The Broke and the Bookish’s Top Ten Tuesday today is almost related to my post last week, Top Ten Books I am Dying to Read.

September 22: Top Ten Books On My Fall TBR

But instead of repeating those books, I will feature the 10 books that I ought to finish this fall. They are all part of PopSugar’s Reading Challenge 2015 that I would like to wrap up, soon!

      1. About the ones I’ve read? Loved the Pelican Brief the most, but then I am a fan of Grisham. I had read Alice once upon a time, but I think that book has layers…and a different layer peels away whenever you read it.

  7. ALL THE LIGHT WE CANNOT SEE WAS AN ASSIGNED READING AT YOUR SCHOOL?! I’m so jealous!! It’s my favourite book of all time ❤ READ IT READ IT READ IT! 😀

    Everything Everything was really good. And I'm also kind of reading Alice In Wonderland. My edition has Alice In Wonderland as well as Through the Looking Glass… so I've kind of put it on hold because I don't really feel like reading Through the Looking Glass right now.

    1. Uhm. Honestly, no. I am not studying anymore haha and this was released way past my school days but I considered this because my high school alma mater now includes this book in their book report options. 🙂

  12. I’ve already read The Goldfinch and All the Light We Cannot See and I highly recommend them both! I own Alice in Wonderland and To Kill a Mockingbird but I haven’t read them yet.

  13. I’m doing the Popsugar Reading Challenge as well! That was a good approach to this list. I’m currently stumped on a book with antonyms in the title and an author with my same initials.

    1. I actually haven’t seen any book for the author with my same initials. 😀 So I considered it a BONUS. Haha

      There are some good books with antonyms. Like Angels and Demons by Dan Brown and the West of the Border… by Haruki Murakami. 🙂

  18. The Goldfinch is sitting on a pile of boxes in my library (really a glorified front-porch that became a room).
    Gabriel Garcia Marquez is, simply put, the GOD of Magic Realism. I LOVE him.
    All the Light You Cannot See is brilliant, and exquisitely written. A moving story.
    To Kill a Mockingbird is a masterpiece.
    Alice in Wonderland — one of the cleverest, most amusing, intelligent fantastical books ever written. You should definitely read it. I’ve memorized entire pieces of poetry (light verse, really) from it, and they’re FUN.
    I would like to read South of the Border, West of the Sun.
    I’m not really a fan of John Grisham — although he’s a skilled plotter, I guess.
    Eat, Pray, Love by Elizabeth Gilbert is a well-written, whiny book about a privileged woman. I was put off by the self-indulgence in her tone. She is a very skilled writer, though, and conveys scenes well. Not my favorite book.

    1. Oh I do have that habit too. But now, I am focusing on finishing the 2015 Reading Challenge. 😀 Somehow I am restraining my self to add more books on my TBR. 😀

      Yes, I intentionally picked books with diverse topics because Nicholas Sparks have a lot of theme/subject in his novels. Like I said, there is always love, lost, grief, love for family, marriage, death, tragedy…
