MONDAY MUSINGS: On enduring love

Monday Musings

Start the week with some wise words worth pondering. – rosemawrites

Sorry for being cheesy guys, but my quote for today is inspired by my Writing 101 Day 3 post. 🙂

Here is my word-to-ponder for this week:

From: The Wedding (The Notebook, #2) by Nicholas Sparks

My thoughts:

I have been romantically in love with my boyfriend for more than five years now. But aside from its cheesy and overly sweet meaning, I have learned that love requires hard work. It is a choice that you make everyday.

Love, as overrated as it is, is actually not as easy as it seems. Falling in love is easy. But staying in love isn’t. It requires time, patience and understanding.

You have to forgive and you have to be forgiven.

For this, I must say that you have to carefully choose who to love. Yes, it is hard so he/she should better be worth it.

Monday Musings is this blog’s newest feature. 🙂

Every Monday, I will share some wise words from the awesome books that I have read.

What are your thoughts on my Monday Musing for this week?

Please tell me… 😉

      1. I don’t know if it’s the same for everybody else, but for me, there’s not that much forgiving needed nowadays.

We’ve known each other’s bad points already for a long time now and those we forgave long ago. We still appreciate each other’s good points, though.
