I have reached the half way of this Book Challenge and I can’t help but be thankful to beckysblogs for making such a great challenge. I have learned more about myself and my love for reading. Yay!
So here is the question for day 16:
16. Most thought-provoking book.
I’ve got three books in mind for this question. Instead of explaining why these are my most thought-provoking books, I will let the quotes from the novel prove that they are indeed moving. Here they are:
- The Time Keeper by Mitch Albom
“Man alone chimes the hour. And because of this, man alone suffers a paralyzing fear that no other creature endures. A fear of time running out.”(Moved.)
- The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho
“There is only one thing that makes a dream impossible to achieve: the fear of failure.”
(This is just my favorite quote from this book. This novel has bunch of wise words that is indeed thought-provoking.)
- Your Best Life Now: 7 Steps to Living at Your Full Potential by Joel Osteen
“Regardless of how many people tell you that what you’re attempting can’t be done, if you’ll persevere, declaring the favor of God and staying in the attitude of faith, God will open doors for you and change circumstances on your behalf.”
(If you want to be inspired, this is the book to read.)
That’s it guys.
~
I haven’t read any of those books. I’m very picky with historicals and non-fictions. (Actually, I don’t read non-fictions. :P) Hey, how many ”days” are there to this challenge, by the way? 🙂

The Time Keeper and The Alchemist are both fictions my dear. 🙂 Though I think they are classified as philosophical fictions. 🙂 There are 30 days actually. 😀
